Enrich your hearts with Buddhist Melodies...

Buddhist Meditation is the music created for or inspired by Buddhism and part of Buddhist art. Chinese Buddhist Music utilizes a rich variety of musical instruments during chants and hymns. Since these instruments are used in the propagation of Buddhist teachings, they are collectively named Dharma instruments. Instruments such as the gong, large bell (ch. qing), large drum (ch. gu), wooden fish, small cymbals, large cymbals and Chinese tambourine punctuate both Chinese folk and Buddhist Music. In modern practice, Chinese Buddhist Music is frequently accompanied by a variety of Chinese orchestral instruments, piano, or traditional European symphony orchestras.

Buddhist melodies are characterized as being strong, but not fierce; soft, but not weak; pure, but not dry; still, but not sluggish, and able to help purify the hearts of listeners. By listening it, you can enrich and reenergize your hearts, reach the most remote places and overcome the limitations of time and distance, as well as differences in cultural backgrounds and nationalities.

13 soul-stirring Buddhist melodies are included in the full version Buddhist Meditation. Only six of them are included in this FREE version.

Pros and cons of Buddhist Meditation(LITE) app for iPhone and iPad

Buddhist Meditation(LITE) app good for

For a free version the music is definately soothing and works. I also liked the spinning circle in the middle for focus. Will download the paid app
Love this, listen every night to it to put me to sleep!!! Very calming and relaxing.
I use this app to calm myself and fall asleep. I would pay for it if it included a few more songs. The timer to shut it off helps me meditate without worrying about how much time has passed.
Thank you this world is in a poor shape so thank you. I dont understand the language but it softens my heart besos

Some bad moments

The idea is good bit if the sound was improved and not so much something that came out of an old tape player in a haunted maze then it would be a useful app. It just doesnt sound soothing at all.
I adore the songs. I would like the company to update this app so it can run in the background while I multi-task with my phone. Also, it would be good if all the songs were available to play in a loop, or to have a single song repeat.
It would be nice if the written words were included and highlighted while listening to make it possible to learn the words and chant along. The translation of the words would also be very nice to have.
They took traditional Tibetan mantras and made them Chinese, from the instruments used to the accents spoken.
It is the only app I use for zazen (sitting meditation)! Its really all I need. It has beautiful music, instruments and matras along with a timer. Very easy to use. Simple. Thats why I like it. Its not complicated. Its still pretty.
Very poor audio and seems almost like a mix tape that was converted to digital. Didnt do it for me but others seem to like it.
